AI-Proctored Assessments

Assess different skills through one configurable platform, with integrity monitoring across complete cohorts.

One platform, many formats

Aptitude, technical, coding, communication, video response, language and hackathons run through the same system, so results across formats are comparable and a cohort is measured against one standard rather than several.

A single multiple-choice paper cannot measure everything a placement or a hiring decision depends on. Choosing the format to match the skill is the point, and running them on one platform is what keeps the results usable together afterwards.

Assessment formats

  • Aptitude. Logical, quantitative and related foundational skills.
  • Technical questions. Conceptual and role-relevant technical knowledge.
  • Coding. Practical problems where the implementation is what is being judged, not the description of an implementation.
  • Communication. Communication-related performance, in formats suited to it rather than inferred from a written test.
  • Language skills. Language-focused evaluation where a role genuinely requires it.
  • Video questions. Structured responses to video-based prompts, recorded under consistent conditions.
  • Hackathons. Challenge-based assessment run as a programme rather than as a single sitting.

Integrity

Proctoring signals are recorded alongside every submission rather than used to fail candidates automatically. A flag is evidence for a human to review, not a verdict. An automated integrity decision that nobody can appeal is worse than no decision at all.

The reasoning is practical as well as ethical. Automated flags carry false positives, and a false positive in an integrity system is an accusation. Keeping a person in the loop is what makes the signal usable at all, because it lets the flag be sensitive without the consequence being automatic.

At cohort scale

  • The same assessment configuration across departments, campuses and intakes.
  • Results that stay comparable year on year, so a trend means something.
  • Configuration by the institution, not a support ticket for every change.
Six assessment formats side by side, each a different kind of panel.

What the institution controls

Question selection, format mix, duration, difficulty, eligibility and when a test opens are all set by the people running it. A platform that needs a support ticket to change a time limit ends up shaping the assessment around its own constraints rather than around what is being measured, and the shaping is invisible to everyone reading the results afterwards.

What the results are used for

Recruitment screening, campus hiring, institutional examinations, placement and training diagnostics, company-specific assessments, mock recruitment tests, and testing at full cohort scale.

Downstream, the same results support candidate comparison, skill-gap identification, training segmentation, shortlist creation, readiness analysis, intervention planning and interview preparation. Final hiring decisions remain with the employer.

Reading a result properly

A score is a measurement taken under particular conditions, not a verdict on a person. Read alongside the format, the cohort and what the candidate was told to prepare, it supports a decision well. Read on its own, it invites one more confident than the evidence behind it deserves.

This matters most at the margin. The difference between the candidate ranked fortieth and the one ranked forty-fifth is usually noise, and treating it as signal is how a defensible process quietly becomes an arbitrary one.

For colleges

Cohort diagnostics, placement preparation, testing at full-year scale, segmentation for training, and progress measured across intakes on a standard that does not move between them.

The common institutional use is diagnostic rather than evaluative: find out what a year group can do before deciding what to teach them, then measure the same way afterwards to find out whether it worked.

A flagged submission being reviewed by a person rather than rejected automatically.

For employers

Screening, role-specific evaluation, coding assessment, campus hiring, and shortlists that arrive with the evidence already attached rather than promised.

The value is concentrated at the top of the funnel, where the volume is highest and the cost of a manual review is hardest to justify.

Delivered at scale before

  • More than 50,000 online-proctored examination instances for IIIT-AP.
  • 40,000 registrations in a single Online Mock EAMCET drive.
  • A Bristlecone hiring pipeline that opened with 7,000 assessed candidates.

These are previously delivered programmes. They describe what has been run, not a guarantee for any future programme.

Questions this raises

  • Is proctoring surveillance? It records integrity signals against a submission. What makes it acceptable is that the signals are reviewed rather than acted on automatically, that candidates are told they are being recorded, and that a flag is never itself the outcome.
  • Can candidates still cheat? Some will, under any system, and a platform claiming otherwise is overselling. The aim is to make it materially harder, to record enough context for a human to judge, and to keep the response proportionate when something is flagged.
  • What about a candidate whose connection drops? That is exactly the case for not automating the decision. A technical failure and an integrity event can look similar in the data and are completely different in fact, which is why a person looks at the record.
  • Does one format suit every skill? No, which is the reason there are several. Judging communication from a multiple-choice paper, or coding ability from a description of code, produces a number that is precise and wrong.
